Bolton MRT Defender PX60 EAE

History

Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, founded in 1968, covers the West Pennine Moors and the urban fringe of Greater Manchester, and in 2015 ran a fleet of four Defenders as casualty-carrying ambulances and control vehicles. PX60 EAE, a 2010 Defender 110 utility wagon photographed by ukemergency.co.uk, wears the team's white livery with a fluorescent yellow front panel, panelled rear quarters lettered BOLTON MOUNTAIN RESCUE TEAM with the badge, MOUNTAIN RESCUE AMBULANCE on the doors, mirrored Ambulance on the bonnet, two rows of orange and white chequer, a fluorescent strip along the roof edge, a roof rack carrying a MOUNTAIN RESCUE light bar and red kit bags, a winch bumper and white steel wheels.
