Brooklyn Coachworks

History

The in-game vehicle is a fan tribute rather than a documented historical Land Rover. Brooklyn Coachworks is a real firm, founded in 2018 by Daniel Marcello in a warehouse on Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, that hand-builds made-to-order custom Land Rovers — chiefly classic Defenders, alongside Range Rovers, Discoveries and mid-century Series vehicles — producing roughly 12 to 20 vehicles a year at prices from about $160,000 upwards, with additional operations in Italy, Virginia and West Palm Beach, Florida.

The Difflocked build depicts a Series I 107 canvas-cab open-tray truck in that restomod spirit, but no specific Brooklyn Coachworks Series I 107 corresponding to it has been verified, so the vehicle itself is recorded as an original community creation.
