French VTA Helicopter Refueller
Open TITAN tactical helicopter-refuelling Land Rover with three hose reels, pumping equipment and recovery winch.
History
TITAN built three VTA vehicles in 2010 for French special-forces helicopter support. They entered service in 2011. The system could refuel two helicopters from a fuel bladder or transport aircraft, using one suction reel and two delivery reels.
The documented vehicle used an Otokar-stretched Defender 130 chassis. This game model follows the queue’s explicit request for a 110-based open tray layout, without doors or glazing. Dimensions and handling in the game should not be read as factory specifications.
