Guardia Civil Santana 1300 Forward Control

History

Garaje Siberia's history of the Guardia Civil's Land Rovers records that the force, as it motorised its rural and traffic patrols in the 1960s and 1970s, bought almost every model Santana built under licence at Linares — the 88 and 109 in several bodies and the 1300 forward control. The 1300, with its cab over the engine and a long load bed, served the Agrupación de Tráfico and the rural units as a personnel and equipment truck; the period photograph shows one in dark green with a canvas tilt, a GUARDIA CIVIL TRÁFICO sign and blue beacon on the cab roof, the force badge on the doors and the PGC-series registration PGC 0044 E of Guardia Civil vehicles.

The registry's model is a Santana 1300 soft top in dark green with the roof sign, beacon, badges and plate; in the game it carries the blue-light boost.
