Dunsfold Hillrally Series II
Brian Bashall’s 1959 Series II 88-inch Hillrally vehicle, recreated in Old English White and Westminster Blue with competition number 13.
History
Dunsfold records that Brian Bashall acquired the bronze-green soft top in 1970 and prepared it for the inaugural 1971 Hillrallies. Changes included a square-section cage, strengthened running gear and waterproofing. It was later rebuilt as a daily-driver hard top, sold, recovered by Philip Bashall and restored to competition specification. VAA 999 is its replacement registration.
