Peter Rabbit Series IIA — front three-quarter render

History

For the live-action Peter Rabbit film, action-vehicle supplier Action 99 Cars provided two matching Series IIA 88-inch Land Rovers in pastel green with white roofs to play Mr McGregor's farm truck, filmed around Windermere and the Lake District in 2017. retromotor.co.uk photographed one on location in Keswick with a camera rig bolted across its load bed. After filming the 1969 example was offered by H&H Classics at their Imperial War Museum Duxford sale in March 2018 as a piece of screen history, its second sibling having been kept for reshoots.

The registry's model, as directed, uses the Series III truck-cab body with the earlier wire-mesh grille of the IIA, in pastel green with a white roof and cream wheels; the film's camera rig is not modelled.
