1300 Bomberos Double Cab
A crew-cab (doble cabina) version of the Santana 1300 fire appliance — the forward-control Linares-built 1.3-tonne truck with a lengthened cab seating a full crew ahead of the pump, tank and roof-carried ladders. Santana did build double-cab 1300s, most famously a 1969 Guardia Civil prototype made by splicing two 109 cabs together, but a documented double-cab 1300 fire appliance has not been traced in published sources.

History
The Santana 1300 was Santana Motor's own forward-control 1.3-tonne truck, built at Linares in the province of Jaén from 1967 to 1978 on the 109-inch Series IIA chassis with the cab and mechanicals pushed forward to free a long rear deck. Spaniards called it the 'Chato de Linares'. It used the 2,286 cc four in 81 CV petrol or 62 CV diesel form, a handful of special-order vehicles got Santana's 3.4-litre six, and about 4,000 were built before the Santana 2000 replaced it.
The 1300 was often sold as a bare chassis-cab, so the Spanish bodybuilding trade produced a wide range of superstructures for it. FIMESA of Madrid was the dominant supplier of fire bodies, and its light forest tender on the 1300 — internally the A-109 — carried a 450-litre tank, four side lockers, a Guinard centrifugal pump with 30 m of high-pressure hose, a roof ladder rack, auxiliary seats, siren, work lamps and a rear towing hook. Brigades from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela, Lloret de Mar and Girona operated them. That standard FIMESA appliance had a single cab.
Double-cab 1300s did exist. Santana is reported to have created a crew-cab version by joining parts of two 109 cabs on a 1300 chassis, producing a 1969 prototype for the Guardia Civil intended to carry eight to ten officers to incidents at speed. The same idea suits fire work, where a full crew must ride to the incident with the pump, and crew-cab conversions of this kind are seen on preserved Spanish appliances. However, no published record of a factory or FIMESA double-cab 1300 fire appliance was found during this research, so the Difflocked model is best understood as a plausible crew-cab interpretation of the documented single-cab type rather than a verified individual vehicle. It is recorded here as a draft pending better evidence.
